Annual Report 2009

Children’s church meets every Sunday in the main church hall.  Children leave church just before the sermon and are taught and cared for in the main hall until the breaking of bread service ends.  We continue to have 15-25 children each Sunday morning and I am very grateful to our great team of willing workers on the rota.

It is a special time for our little ones aged 3 to 7.  We believe our children are especially important to God and our mission is to bring each child into a life changing relationship with Jesus.  Our aim is to help each child to

  • Discover that they are special to God and loved by Him
  • Discover God’s free gift of salvation and invite God to be their own and personal Saviour.
  • Discover and grown in their own relationship with God.

Mark 10v14-15 “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them … anyone who will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

If you would be willing to help out in either of these very important works, please let me know as we’re always looking for new helpers.

Annual Report 2008

Thanks to all who willingly help out week after week in the valuable work of the children’s church.  Without their help we would be unable to share God’s word with these young children, aged 3-7 years.

The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:6 that we should “train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

The children’s church is an ongoing ministry 52 weeks of the year and we would value your prayers greatly.  We continue to have 15-25 children each Sunday morning and a great team of approx. 30 very willing workers.  Our prayer is that as children learn more about Jesus, that they will invite Him into their hearts.
