I’m New

What can you expect at Armagh Baptist Church?
{In light of current restrictions, we ask that you wear a face covering as you enter and leave the building, and while singing.}

Whether you are searching for a church home, trying to figure out who God is or have been persuaded by a friend to come along, you are most welcome here.  Armagh Baptist Church is not a building – it is a group of people, flawed people, who have come together to worship God.  There are no qualifications needed to join us, no dress code required… just come as you are.

Our morning service starts at 11am, typically lasting between 60 and 90 minutes, as we sing together, pray, open and study God’s Word and enjoy communion together.  If you are saved and walking with God join us in eating bread and drinking wine to symbolise Jesus’ body broken and blood shed for us.

Children are most welcome at all our services.  Children of primary school age will be catered for in Sunday School, while parents with younger children are invited to make use of our creche facilities – just ask any of our deacons at the door.  Children are able to leave during the singing of a song, just before we study God’s Word.  Any children of secondary school age are encouraged to stay with us in the main church building, where they can avail of a helpful worksheet to guide them through the sermon.

Our evening service begins at 6:30pm and takes the same format as our morning service.  Except on special occasions, there are no facilities available for children at this time, but we encourage you to join with us and worship as a family.

Both services are preceded by a time of prayer – 10:15am and 6:00pm.
You can take part, or simply listen, but you are always welcome.
